Some might say it's an improvement! TOWIE stars wear bags on their heads as they get ready to battle zombies

THE TOWIE crew faced the end of the world this week — as they took part in zombie S.W.A.T. training.

The reality stars, including Lucy Mecklenburgh, Jessica Wright and Mario Falcone, donned black boilersuits and had to put black bags over their heads for the exercise.

They were then marched off to be drilled on how to fight the undead in a mock invasion of London.

The exercise came just days ahead of a predicted apocalypse – forecast to happen on December 21 as an ancient Mayan calendar comes to an end.

The crew were put through their paces at Bunker 51 – a themed decommissioned Cold War nuclear bunker near the O2 in East London.

According to the S.W.A.T. training team’s website London will be swarming with zombies — and judging by these pictures the TOWIE lot were humanity’s only chance.

But the Essex boys and girls looked scarcely spooked by the prospect of gore and battle — looking smiley and immaculately groomed.

Maybe they had enough spray tan to beat whole armies of the undead...
