MOST celebrities travel first class on commercial flights, but Tom Cruise takes it one extravagant step further.
The Hollywood star left his New York hotel with 17-year-old son Connor on a private helicopter.
The young lad played it cool in the company of his minted dad, who he’s been spending quality time with the lad on the promotional tour for his latest movie Jack Reacher.
Tom was joined by Connor in New York before they yesterday flew out of the city en route to Los Angeles for Christmas.
Posting on Twitter, Connor wrote: “NYC it's been real... LA bound with a quick stop in Pittsburg.”

Jack Reacher is set in Pittsburg, hence his visit to the Pennsylvania city for a special screening.
Clad in dark shades and taking to the cockpit, Tom resembled Maverick – the Top Gun character that launched him to megastar status in 1986.
Proving their popularity, Tom and Connor took time to shake hands and bid farewell to friends in the Big Apple before setting off.

Speaking to fans in Pittsburgh yesterday before continuing on to LA, Tom said: “I just really want to thank you all very much because you can’t make a movie unless you have the help of the community.
“I wish you a very merry Christmas and best of New Year.”
Tom will be spending Christmas as a single man following his split from Katie Holmes earlier this year.
However, he’s expected to be joined by Connor – his adopted son with Nicole Kidman – and six-year-old daughter Suri over the festive holiday.
